I. GRAMMAR STRUCTURE:
We show the three forms of this tense: Affirmative, Interrogative and Negative form. Let's see the chart:
II. SOME RULES ABOUT SIMPLE PRESENT: THIRD PERSON

AFFIRMATIVE FORM:

+ We add -s as a general rule for the third Person, in the majority of the verbs.
    Examples:

    - He eats vegetables. Él come vegetales.
    - Alice dances at the theatre. Alice baila en el teatro.
    - The dog breaks the fence. El perro rompe la cerca.
+ There are other rules for each verb form:
If the verb finishes in:"SS", "SH", "CH", "O" y "X" , We add -es only for the third Person.
    Examples:

    FISH (pescar)
He fishes at the sea. (Él pesca en el mar.)

    KISS (besar)
She kisses to her boyfriend. (Ella besa a su novio.)

    WATCH (observar)
He watches the mountain. (Él observa la montaña.)

    FIX (arreglar)
He fixes his car. (Él arregla su carro.)

    GO (ir)
She goes to the office. (Ella va a la oficina.)

+ Another exception is when the verb finishes in "Y" and before of it there is a consonant; We
change the "Y" for the "I" and adds "-ES", only for the third Person.

   Example:
   STUDY (estudiar)
She studies the lesson. Ella estudia la lección.

NEGATIVE FORM:

We use for the Negative form the full form and contractions: DO NOT - DON'T o DOES NOT - DOESN'T.

Examples:
I don't play tennis. (Yo no juego al tenis.)
He doesn't work in an office. (Él no trabaja en una oficina.)
They don't travel to Madrid. (Ellos no viajan a Madrid.)
